Preserved Garlic Cloves

Recipes
Put peeled fresh garlic cloves in a saucepan.
Cover with extra virgin olive oil.
Simmer over very low heat until they are tender (about 30 minutes). Remove from heat, cool.
Place in a jar, cover with the olive oil, refrigerate.
Serve as a condiment for bread, tomatoes, pasta, vegetables, etc. When serving, either take out of fridge ahead of time to serve at room temperature, or warm slightly in microwave or saucepan.
